Apologies for the long hiatus! Here’s my US trip Part 2! And this time, it’s to San Francisco! Was in US for 2 weeks, and spent the precious weekends over at San Francisco (where some others went to Lake Tahoe!). I wasn’t prepared for the cold weather at Lake Tahoe, but i’m all prepared, looking forward to my trip to San Francisco!
We drove for 2 hours from Roseville to San Francisco, got lost (or we were probably going round to look for carpark), and finally reached our destination! Took the “cable car” up to Fisherman’s Wharf and back down for more shopping! I am truly amazed by the “cable car” because i stood all the way up to Fisherman’s Wharf, and the way up took around 30mins! It was definitely an eye opener!
Here comes the cable car!
Cable car making a “U-Turn”!
Close-up shot of the cable car!
Up up up!
It’s a manual “U-Turn”!
Here we go! up and down the slopes!
So near the cars!!
I love the buildings there!
We’re going down-slope now!
The roads here are unpredictable! Up and Down!
Chinatown! Feels familiar with all the chinese words!
Super cool library building!
I love chinatown! feeling the warmth!
What a cool Swensen’s! Just look at the building!
Another street shot!
Woah~~ Steep slope ahead!
Guess what? THAT’S STARBUCKS!! I’m in love with the buildings there!
I love the cars too!
Off across the island!
Crabs are everywhere at Fisherman’s Wharf!
I’m finally at Fisherman’s Wharf!!
Looks at the seagulls, the people, the clear bluesky!
Guess what? That’s Alcatraz prison!
Off to a visit to the prison!
Oh, before that, get your tickets!!
Hello clear blue sky, calming sea, freed seagull!
The seagulls gathered to be fed!
Can you see that?!! That’s the famous Golden Gate Bridge!!
Queuing to get back down! That’s the end of my Fisherman’s Wharf trip!
Steepest slope there! I wonder how the residents feel when their estate has become a tourist area! It sure is noisy!
Back down! Time for some shopping!!
That’s the shopping area! Let’s go!!
I had a great trip to the US. Even though it’s for business, i had a well-spent weekend, thanks to my colleagues! It was definitely an eye-opener, and i really love the place! Hope to visit some other places in the US soon!
I’m targeting to travel to more different states of the US in future! Travelling is fun! 🙂
